Design
The 2220 Megazord was created to provide fans of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series with an affordable version of the iconic Dino Megazord. Unlike the Deluxe Megazord, which stands at 11 inches, the 2220 Megazord was notably smaller and more compact at 6.5 inches or 16.5 centimeters.

Trivia
- Like the Deluxe Megazord, the 2220 Megazord was based on the Japanese Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger counterpart, the Daizyuzin. The molds for this toy were shared with the Japanese release, albeit with a simpler design to reduce costs.
- The 2220 Megazord was primarily marketed as a more affordable option for younger audiences, allowing kids to enjoy the Megazord transformation without the higher price tag of the Deluxe version.
